Pricing/availability: ultra-resolution.
Supply of the teflon capacitor used in the ultra-resolution option has unfortunately dried up due to manufacturer-side difficulties and future availability is uncertain. We have been able to acquire a small quantity at increased expense, so production and aftermarket upgrade of ultra-rez dAck! 2.0's will continue as stocks allow. Updated pricing of $85 for the upgrade reflects the new costs. Quantities are very limited.
We are investigating the V-Cap as a replacement, however we would like to avoid migration due to substantial required increase in pricing. We will do everything possible to maintain high value for our customers while this problem is sorted out.
The ultra-resolution upgrade is a signal capacitor modification that results in considerable improvements in transparency, extension, and stage presence over the basic dAck! 2.0.
